Raymond’s Vow to Towonda

Towonda, I love you.

It seems self evident, since I am here, ready to marry you. But marriage is just the formalization of the commitment I have already made to you.

Why do I love you?

We are pieces of a mosaic. You, intuitive, creative with a unique imagination. Me, structured, analytical and methodical.

But pieces just filling gaps do not make a mosaic beautiful. The pieces should share an aesthetic and character. The image created should appear seamless with colors that meld into one another and define a greater whole.

TowRay’s aesthetic is silly, loving, tender, welcoming, caring, charismatic and sincere.

On our first meeting I knew you were unique. By our third, I knew that we uniquely fit together and I wanted to build that beautiful mosaic with you.

Today, this is my vow to you

I’ll be your dream

I’ll be your wish

I’ll be your fantasy

I’ll be your hope

I’ll be your love

I will be strong

I will be faithful

I’ll  be everything that you need

I’ll love you more with every single breath

I will always love you Truly, Madly, Deeply

Towonda’s Vow to Raymond

Towonda’s Vow to Raymond

I choose you, Raymond, for life

Since the day I first saw you, peeping at me on Match.com, you invited me out to dinner the same day. I knew then you were special. But it was the second date when I was able to share my true self, my dreams, my thoughts, my desires but mostly, I was able to share my past hurts – I knew God had sent you to teach me how to forget my past pains and to prepare for love.

I love you for how you make me feel when we’re together and how I miss you when we’re apart. We’ve grown so much together, and you enrich my life and inspire me to be better.”

I promise to work on ways to strengthen our marriage continually. I promise to remain faithful, witty, spontaneous, patient, encouraging, understanding, inspiring, and comforting.

But my Raymond, I must say I am so grateful that God spared both of our lives-giving us another opportunity to reaffirm our love. A chance to create our life purpose together.

It was a lonely feeling when faced with losing you; I remember every night when you were laying in that hospital fighting for your life. I was praying joined by hundreds of others praying for you to open your eyes.

My heart will be your shelter and my arms will be your home. As I have given you my hand to hold. I give you my life to keep.

Raymond, I am grateful to stand before on this day as a demonstration of God’s grace and mercy for our love. I am ready to build our life mission for our new life together, a lifetime of gratitude, happiness, and unconditional love.

Raymond, I love you. Before our family and friends, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, for better or worse, I promise to love you and spend the rest of my days with you.”

Love, Your Wife, Towonda
